Hi! (waves) :) I finally read the links on the homepage of the Jig, and found my way over here. I've spent waaaaaaay too much time watching TV, especially cult TV shows in the last half of the nineties, so I should be able to contribute here. Nice to see everyone! :)
Here's a list of my favorite tv shows:
Childhood:
Sesame Street, The Electric Company, Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, Bugs Bunny, Saturday morning cartoons, In Search Of..., Sixty Minutes, Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, M*A*S*H*, Battlestar Galactica, Space 1999, Buck Rodgers, The Muppet Show.
Teenage Years:
Beauty and the Beast, The Cosby Show, A Different World, More cartoons (:P), Fraggle Rock, Sixty Minutes, Tucker's Witch (I saw part of one episode, but it was cancelled before I could see more, and I've always been intrigued by since then.),
Twenties:
Twin Peaks, Hercules: The Legendary Journies, Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Farscape, Good Eats, The X-Files, The Lone Gunmen, Babylon 5, Ballykissangel (with Peter and Assumpta; I lost track after that), McLeod's Daughters, Interior Motives / The Christopher Lowell Show, Home Front (a home decorating show from the U.K.), a lot of other home decorating shows on HGTV, Monstervision with Joe Bob Briggs (bring him back on Chiller TV!!!), The Daily Show (with Craig Kilborn. Nothing beat hearing about the Clinton-Lewinski scandal with a phallic Egyptian needle graphic going up and down.), various Sci-Fi Channel shows during the day (I got into John Doe, Roswell, Firefly and this way. Also like both versions of Kolchak: The Night Stalker.), Deadline (how can you not love a show with Bebe Newirth, Oliver Platt, Lily Taylor and Tom Conti??), various History Channel documentaries.
Thirties:
Dr. Who (the new series; I didn't follow the original), The Sarah Jane Adventures, Battlestar Galactica (the remake), Family Guy, a lot of anime shows (what was on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim and the International Channel / AZN TV. I really loved Inu-Yasha. Now I try to follow it on the Sci-Fi Channel), Veronica Mars, C-Span 1 & 2 (especially BookTV), various local and national news shows, The Weather Channel. (Yeah. The Weather Channel. Wanna make something of it, bub?)

Hi, Margarita. Nice to see you over here, from Jig. Janine just found the Sister Site link and came in this week. Look at all the friends you have already! LOL This is much more a game site than a discussion site but we can do both. Thanks for the description on all your fave TV shows!Make yourself at home, find a decade group (or more) that you'd like to play an join them, so you can answer. You might want to glance at the game rules --> Game Rules but it's pretty simple, if you know the game piece, post it and click reply. I think you will do well in any or all of the decades.
