Thanks for the birthday wishes for any age! I see Al left you his number. Write it down and his e-mail too. He really is good at the intricacies of computers, and I don't know a thing about the hardware part either. At least he's local for you! He was for me too, until he moved back to Boston. His puppy Nipper is my baby Martini's brother, so it's all in the family! I hope he can help and relieve you of using someone elses computer!!!

Learned a ling time ago, never give out a real age. LOL

It seems apparent that the laptop has a problem with the internal power connection. I work at Radio Shack in Quincy Ma. Give me a call @ 617 472-3318 after 5pm on most day's. I'll be there all week except for Friday. I'm off. If you want to have it repaired I could send it out. Call me and I'll fill you in on the details.

I hope he can get your computer fixed so you can come back and play the games. Like I said, he's a master guru at computers, and builds mine from scratch.

Sounds like it could be a bad battery or charging issue inside. One question; "Are you able to power up the laptop with the power adapter?"

I forgot to mention that I think we were friends on NMF, so wonder why that didn't carry over into Jig and here? I'm pretty sure, but then at my age, you can't really rely on memory all thta much! LOL

oops, forgot to tell you that my computer guru lives in Weymouth and is also a member here, named Allen Beal. Drop him a note if you like, he's the friendly sort but never comes in anymore unless he gets messages. He's a great person to know if you ever have computer problems, BTW!
