Ratings News: FlashForward Wins Timeslot With 12 Million Viewers

The overnight ratings are in, and the news is good. FlashForward won its timeslot both in ratings and total viewers. According to TV by the Numbers, FlashForward won the 8pm Thursday timeslot, with 12.41 million viewers, a household rating/share of 7.6/13, and a 4.1/12 rating/share among Adults 18-49. In comparison, Survivor: Samoa on CBS pulled 11.87 million viewers, 6.0/10 household rating/share, and 3.7/11 rating/share among Adults 18-49.
In short, FlashForward got more viewers. It also marks the first time in a long while that Survivor lost in its timeslot.
The numbers are comparable to ABC’s other big series premieres from Wednesday. Modern Family took in 12.605 million viewers, while Cougar Town had 11.280 million viewers.
Here’s hoping the show keeps up its ratings throughout the season!
