I really enjoyed Quantum Leap a lot --till it's LAST season--when--in reaction to faltering ratings (it was discovered that women were about 2/3 of it's viewership)--it seemed like SAM was either a woman or a pregnant woman--or in some kind of love affair (this was some kind of attempt to give the female viewers what the producers thought they wanted)--it was AWFUL! I quit it cold about a 1/3 of the way through the last season--what an ignominious way to end such a prestigious run!
