No where is there a place to share our thoughts about people who offered a great deal of talent and will be missed.

I needed to start with my sadness over the loss of Kenny Rankin who died a little over a week ago. He was one of my favorite singers and guitarist. Cancer at the age of 69. I feel lucky getting to see him perform twice.

They say these things always happen in three's. I don't know why that has always been the case in Hollywood, if they are just more well known so we pay closer attention, but the question always seems to be "who's next?".

Two great performers.

I seem to catch the news after the fact, since I am no longer a news junkie. Thought it would be nice to at least reflect on some of those that left an imprint one way or another.

Sigh it's Kenny that really has me in the dumps. Some of his music is on my play list on my page. FYI.

Sorry this took so long to reply to, but I've been really busy adding new 50's! This is really a tragedy if he was indeed murdered. I loved him in Kung Fu and currently have the 1st disc of the 1st season (which Netflix just recently released) at home to watch. Both Dale and I are enjoying it, and will miss him muchly!

Ditto to that. My dad was a big fan of Kung Fu, and I thought he was great in Kill Bill. I don't think his legacy will be damaged by the way he died.
