What TV Shows did you grow up with?

Bob started a discussion on Three Rivers and it looked interesting enough to share with everyone. I really like O'Laughlin and am happy to see him back so quickly after Moonlight was cancelled.

I will give this a chance too. I was really upset when I heard that NBC cancelled Medium (one of Juli's fave too) but it was picked up by CBS!!!

You get to see the victims viewpoint on Medium as well, so maybe this will fly. We'll see.

I've never seen Medium...is that the show where the victims come to her in dreams etc....think it is one of the Arquette sisters plays
the lead?

Thank God! Now makes CBS great on Friday nights.

Not my cup of tea--but it has promise!

I have watched 2 episodes of this Bruckheimer series (man that guy is making money hand over fist), and I don't know if it will be a constant. Depends on story lines. So far have watched first two episodes.

"Glee" follows an optimistic high school teacher as he tries to transform the school's once top-flight, but now moribund Glee Club and inspire a group of talented but unfocused performers to make it to, and win, the biggest competition of them all: Nationals. In his way is not just the indifferent principal, but also the sponsors of the cheerleading and football groups both of whom see his efforts as detracting from their own. His wife, whose acquisitiveness is out of control, wants him to ignore his love of teaching and quit to become an accountant, so they'll have more money for her to spend.

High School Musical with grown ups...I sort of like it?

Haven't seen it but Bob says to give it a try. Maybe I'll look for it next week.

I tried to find it on my recording schedule (Titan TV) and it's nowhere to be found. I think they intend to re-schedule it for the Fall now.

Oh dear lord! MORE singing and dancing! I like music--and sometimes even like watching a good dance number--but dressing these activities up in dialogue and plot that would embarrass the publishers of "Little Golden Books" I read when I was 4 seems like the WORST way to present such worthwhile art! I doubt this will last the season.

Saw one episode then I don't know where it went. I liked the episode I saw this summer.
