What TV Shows did you grow up with?

I almost cried when the last show of the last season aired. Not that I didn't cry during lots of their episodes, it was just so sad to know that a series that great would probably never be duplicated on Network or Cable.

I have to agree! In all honesty this show tought me more about how politics as well as what it means to be a President than any history or social studies book could have ever have tought me. I believe that this show should be shown in high school classes then debated over. It would be a definate learning experience as well as enjoyable for the class!
But the rewards would be invaluable!

Karen, the whole series is available on DVD and well worth renting during the Summer repeats. I knew from the beginning that I'd love this series and recorded it weekly, for all 8 seasons so have the entire series on DVD to keep!!! I'm with your on the Bartlet for Prez any time.

Here's the link to check it out, if you have Netflix. West Wing

For Christmas one year my son recorded a bunch of episodes
for me...he obviously knew I was a big fan of the show....but
it would be wonderful to have all 8 seasons...so thanks
very much for the link!

The last season of this consistently great show should be mandatory viewing for any of our present, "solons" who feel they are presidential material. Title it "How to Run an Ethical, Classy Campaign." Unfortunately it'll never happen, hence, the Guilianis and Palins of the world.

We could probably all write blogs and discuss our favorite episodes with each other. Thanks again Cat for the link of CJ doing "The Jakal"...it's the best.
I also found the background music to be so fitting...and loved the songs.
Again with help from Cat found a lot of them. Bravo runs the show in the mornings.
I try to watch tehm whenever I'm not at work.
