I'm a very big Aaron Sorkin fan, since Lost is one of my favorite show of all time. Because of that, I did some reasearch and found an earlier offering of his - Sports Night. That was a sit-com and extremely well done and worth renting if you line the genre. I also love Studio 60 on the Sunset strip.
I know we have quite a few Sci-Fi fans and his latest show is a Sci-Fi which I'm crazy about, and just wondered if any of you were watching it?
If its the spelling change--blame "naming consultants" who have no doubt advised that since "sci-fi" is a generic term--"SyFy" is a Distinctive brand name. As for info about: SyFy is owned by the USA Channel (which has a good amount of ITS stock owned by NBC)--and is about 30% original programming and 70% re-runs from many different sources. Or do you mean--you don't feel happy/satisfied with the way it is run?

I mean I don't pay Comcast the extra money to get it! I love Sci-Fi how ever you spell it but can't afford the price, since I belong to Netflix and get almost everything I want piped into my Roku box for watching (commercial free) for a mere $13.99 a month! That also includeds the two-at-a-time snail-mail delivery of discs I wanna see.
What about the show??? Are you watching FlashForward?
I watched the 1st episode--and have stupidly waited too long to catch the next 3 episodes online--as they WERE available--but have NOW been "pulled"! It looks to be great! I have also taped the first 2 episodes of "V" and plan to watch them tomorrow (I have been way busy till now)__ I believe "V" will turn out to be VERY GOOD! PS For some reason--the local Comcast provider has added SyFy, History Channel, Travel Channel, ESPN 2, and a couple of others to basic cable!!! WHOOPEE! I think this is a reaction to DISH Network offering a $20 a month contract for 1 year--as of late!!
I've seen one episode awhile back of W. 13 when it was shown on the sister network (USA) and liked it a lot--now that syfy is part of my basic cable lineup--I will pursue it further.
